According to “The Weights and Measures Act”, the gas meter used for natural gas measurement shall pass the verification by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology & Inspection, MOE; the valid period is 10 years. After 10 years of usage, the gas provider shall inform users of the replacement by issuing the replacement notice to the user household, which shall include the scheduled replacement date. Certified technicians will perform the gas meter replacement process on the scheduled date, and the cost of replacement shall be entirely borne by the gas company.
