　　Taipei City Government’s Department of Economic Development is set to host the international innovation event, “StartSphere Taipei,” from September 4th to 6th. The event, themed “Today's Tech, Tomorrow's Trend,” will focus on innovations in consumer, entertainment, and fintech sectors. Over 20 international venture capitalists, unicorns, multinational AI startups, and international media founders from the US, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand will gather in Taipei, underscoring the city’s growing appeal to the global innovation community.

　　This three-day event promises a diverse and enriching agenda: featuring a startup exchange with Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the preparatory unit for the 2025 Osaka World Expo, alongside other Asia-Pacific VCs, tech media on Sepetember 4th at Taipei Co-Space. From September 5th to 6th, with a groundbreaking unicorn forum gathering food and beverage retail giants from Indonesia, and Botrista, a US-based boba tea automation soonicorn in the morning, and an international VC and media forum with international demo pitch in the afternoon on September 5th. On September 6th, representatives from South Korean film and entertainment funds and data companies are invites to show how innovation and investment can drive the global expansion of K-POP, "Parasite", and "Train to Busan". In the afternoon, the Cool Taiwan Summit will showcase the results of Taiwan-Japan digital transformation efforts through collaborations between renowned Japanese brands and government representatives.

　　Taipei City Government is committed to positioning Taipei as a founder-friendly city and an AI-driven smart city. To this end, the city is actively implementing policies to boost investment, attract top talent, and facilitate strategic partnerships. The timing of "StartSphere Taipei" during the “TRENDY TAIPEI—Music X Innovation” initiative is deliberate, aiming to create a platform that connects startups with the international community. By gathering venture capitalists, unicorns, and startups from Taiwan and abroad, the event fosters the exchange of experiences and ideas, and the pursuit of business partnerships. This summit not only showcases Taipei’s innovative capabilities but also enhances its image on the global innovation stage. Through this platform, Taipei seeks to attract more international resources and talent, invigorate the local innovation ecosystem, and solidify its position as Asia's leading innovation city.
