The Taipei City Government will exhibit in the Taiwan Expo in Malaysia as “Taipei Your Partner Pavilion” for the second year this year (2019) in order to develop the Malaysian market. The exhibition will open at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre on 5th July for two days, where 16 businesses from Taipei City have been invited by the City Government to take part. The aim is to take up the demographic dividend opportunity in Malaysia so that the participating businesses from Taipei can expand internationally into the Southbound Market.

Following the success of Taipei Your Partner Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur last year (2018), the Department of Economic Development reported that the Taipei Your Partner Pavilion will be on exhibition in Penang this year, where the industrial and cultural characteristics of Taipei City will be presented through four major themes: “Invest Taipei,” “Fine Goods Taipei,” “Taipei Travel” and“Connect Taipei,” 16 businesses from Taipei including Worldibuy, TenArt, infoThink, Chef Clean, Miinfen, Relove, Skwentex, Kimada, Shiny Brands Group Co., Ltd., New-In Co., Ltd., Wel-Bloom Bio-Tech Corporation, Toothfilm Inc., Bravo Ideas Digital Co., Ltd., Hsiang Yao Health Business Co., Ltd, Andean International Incorporation, and Taiwanmania.Com International Travel Service Co., Ltd. have been invited to exhibit.

The Department of Economic Development additionally stated that Ms. Yunna Tan, a well-known Malaysian news presenter, along with local internet celebrities have been specially invited to promote and introduce products from Taipei City to visitors during the exhibition. Local businesses can visit the Taipei Pavilion for business discussion while local citizens can get to know quality products developed by makers from Taipei City through online demonstrations and offline experiential activities.
