In 2010, a pet boarding business owner was fined 100,000 NTD for not having his permit renewed. Taipei City Animal Protection Office (TCAPO) reminds pet lodging service business owners to check out the expiration date of their permit and apply for renewal if necessary.
According to related regulations, permit is valid for 3 years since the date of issuance. Business owners can apply for a three-year-extension upon permit renewal. Applications for permit renewal should be done 3-6 months before expiration date. Please download the application documents at the link below .( https://service.gov.taipei/Case/ApplyWay/201907150019)Resend attachments is necessary only when changes of person in charge or business profile are made. If applications are made after expiration date, all attachment files must be resubmitted. Please keep the expiration date of your permit in mind and make sure to renew your permit in time.
