The TCAPO recently received a notification that there is a problem with stray dogs in mountainous areas. In order to control the number of stray dogs in the mountainous areas, the TCAPO started its stray dog capture and sterilization plan in the year 2019. It should be able to effectively and gradually alleviate the human-dog conflict caused by dog mass breeding by capturing stray dogs to spray or neuter them.
The TCAPO urged that do not feed stray dogs at will, in order to control the number of stray dogs. Without sterilizing and feeding stray dogs will increase the difficulties of trapping by the Animal Protection Office. People who feed stray animals at will and cause environmental mess is accused of violating the Waste Disposal Act.
