The first dog-only sports ground in Zhongshan District, Taipei City, "Meiti Dog Off-leash Area" was officially opened, with dog parks or dog activity areas in 12 administrative districts!

Taipei City continues to draw up running spaces for furkids. With the support of the village chiefs and residents, the 19th dog-only activity space "Meiti Off-leash Area" was officially opened on November 13th. This is also the first dog off-leash area in Zhongshan District. Covering an area of 1,546 square meters, the park is divided into large and small dogs’ areas. In addition to the basic facilities such as double-door entrances and exits, rest seats, pet parking, dog poop bag dispensers, trash cans, hand and foot-washing basins, it also has facilities for interacting with furkids. Multiple recreational facilities including wave trails, high bridges, and A-shaped boards have all incorporated the interactive needs of owners and furkids to fulfill more friendly facilities at the venue. The opening of the Meiti Off-leash Area also represents the achievement of the goal of "All 12 administrative districts have a dog park or dog off-leash area", which makes Taipei an animal-friendly leading city throughout the country.

The Taipei City Animal Protection Office stated that if owners want to know more about dog buses, they can refer to its official website (https://www.tcapo.gov.taipei/Default.aspx) under "I'm going to the dog park" and "Weekend and Holiday Dog Friendly Bus” area, or join the fan page of “Taipei Animal Shelter” (https://www.facebook.com/tcapo.tas/ ) and “Taipei Animal Friendly Space” (https://www.facebook.com/Taipei .animal.friendly.space/ ).
