Nansong Market

open MAPNansong Market

The land of this market site, which was once a graveyard, belongs to the city government. After negotiation and discussion, it was reused as a warehouse for the Ministry of Defense (to store rice, flour and other supplies). In 1961, under the government's coordination, the military force took the land back and relocated the old vendors of the Raohe Street that could not do business due to road expansion at that time. However, business at the new site was not good, the vendors went back and gathered at Raohe Street. After negotiating, the market was reopened on March 20th, 1971. All sorts of fresh products and commodities are sold in the market.
