Department of Economic Development

According to Article IV & V of the Taipei Municipal Self-Governance Ordinance to Promote Industrial Development, Taipei City Government:

1. Application form
2. Investment plan
3. Relevant documents to prove a newly established company or business or capital increase.
4. Receipt for purchasing facilities or technologies, or relevant certifying documents.
5. The relevant financial reports for the past three years certified by a certified public accountant, the actual year will be calculated if less than three years. However, small & medium sized enterprises may use the financial reports organized by the account data set in accordance with the tax bureau.
6. Copy of the latest profit-seeking enterprise annual income tax return form and the annual tax returns form; the profit-seeking enterprise annual income tax return form is not required for newly established companies with a period of less than one year. 
7. Documents certifying no unpaid taxes. 
8. The documents to certify the items for the application. 
9. Other documents stipulated by the Department of Economic Development.

Applicants for research and development subsidies according to Article X of the Municipal Self-Governance Ordinance for Industrial Development need to prepare the following documents for the application to the Department of Economic Development:

1. Application form.
2. Research and development plan. 
3. Relevant documents of the company or business registration and alteration. 
4. Copy of the latest profit-seeking enterprise annual income tax return form and business tax return form; the profit-seeking enterprise annual income tax return form is not required for newly established companies with a period of less than one year. 
5. Documents certifying no unpaid taxes. 
6. Relevant certifying documents of labor insurance for the employees.
7. Other documents stipulated by the Department of Economic Development.
