In 1994, former Mayor Huang of Taipei City approved to review the 87 air-force base listed vendors that occupied the market site-to-be along with 68 unlicensed vendors around the base. During the construction of the market, some vendors (total 68) were moved to the temporary site in the alleys at the east side of the air-force base, which was then demolished on June 5th 2006. Longcheng Market had its official reopen on September 30th 2006 after the market was built. It is considered a traditional market located in Minshen community where all sorts of fresh products and commodities are sold. | | Location: No.39, Ln. 190, Guangfu N.
